Cuba: Faith, Politics, Economics, and Changing U.S.-Cuban Relations

September 20-29, 2016  (Application deadline extended for a few more days!)

With recent developments in Cuba, the role of communities of faith in Cuban society continues to change alongside other facets of life. This delegation, coordinated with the Mission Agency of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), will explore how the current “normalization” of Cuban-U.S. relations is affecting both organized and informal communities of faith and social change. The delegation will engage with various religious communities and leaders, learning from them about the historical and current reality under the U.S. embargo and other political and economic restrictions. Join this delegation to learn about Cuba at this time of change! For more information contact delegation coordinator, Steve Bowie stephenlbowie@gmail.com
