NNOC Fall Meeting November 7and 8 in Washington DC

Sep 22, 2015 by

Dear NNOC friends,

The annual meeting of the National Network On Cuba will be held in Washington DC on November 7 and 8, 2015. The DC Metro Committee has secured a wonderful space for our meeting and are helping to make plans for a public meeting. All the events will be held at the David A Clarke School of Law; part of the University System of the District Colombia (UDC). It is easily accessible by Metro at the Van Ness/UDC stop of the red line. The address is 4340 Connecticut Ave. NW, Washington DC 20008.

As you know, we look forward to the participation of Kenia Serrano, ICAP President and Leima Martinez, representative of the North America Division of ICAP. We anticipate that their visa requests to travel to the United States will be approved expeditiously.

Please help us by encouraging member groups to attend.  Also, we need you to respond and let us know that you will be participating in the meeting.  We expect that we will have an excellent meeting and a large attendance.  In order to make plans and arrangements we need you to let us know as soon as possible that you will join us in Washington DC in November.

As part of the meeting, there will be an election for co-chairs.  There will be 2 co-chairs elected at this meeting and there will be an open seat as Franklin Curbelo will not be a candidate for election.  We will send out nomination information and full meeting details as soon as possible.

In solidarity,

NNOC co-chairs

Cheryl LaBash

Banbose Shango

Franklin Curbelo

Alicia Jrapko

Nalda Vigezzi
