International rejection of the US blockade and attacks against Cuba
Havana, May 18 (Prensa Latina) More voices joined today demanding to end the US blockade against Cuba, showing the solidarity with the country of Jose Marti and Fidel Castro.

From Mali, Cuban sports specialists on Monday expressed their rejection of the recent terrorist attack on the Cuban embassy in Washington and also demanded the lift of the commercial and financial US blockade against Cuba.

Likewise, the specialists strongly reject once afresh the US blockade ‘that our heroic people is facing every single day,’ according to a message sent through diplomatic means, while strongly rejecting the inclusion of Cuba in the list of countries that ‘do not fully cooperate with counter-terrorism efforts.’

In this regard, Cuban collaborators in Mali wonder ‘Does the US forget how many times we have been victims of this event? Have they already forgotten the most criminal of all their events against Cuba, the Cubana de Aviacion flight 455 blow-up in mid-flight? Judge the real culprits, not the innocent,’ the note concludes.

On April 30, the Cuban embassy in Washington DC was attacked by a Cuban-born US citizen and the US authorities have not provided an adequate response to the incident so far.
